The Sustainable Development Goals Online collection, or SDGO, is a huge specialist online library created by Taylor & Francis to support the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDGO is the most comprehensive resource of its kind. It provides high-quality, peer-reviewed knowledge for many of the world’s 200 million higher education students, their tutors, and the researchers in their universities as they learn about, research, and work out how to address what some are calling the ‘world’s biggest change programme’

In the second semester of 2018 Professor Torres spent his sabbatical in Germany, working as a Senior Fellow at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena which is a public research university located in Jena, Thuringia, Germany.

Erfurt is a famous city in Germany. Max Weber, one of the founders of the discipline of sociology, was born in this city. Erfurt is the home of the Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies (Max-Weber- Kolleg) of the University of Erfurt. The Max-Weber-Kolleg combines the functions of an Institute for Advances Studies and a Graduate School.
